This year's topic is "Preserving our Paths of History" with keynote speaker Elizabeth Kostelny, Executive Director of Preservation Virginia. Breakout sessions will include topics that involve historic roads, byways, rivers and buildings of Fairfax County. Also, the Fairfax County Archaeology Lab will hold an open house all day. Cost of $20.00 includes continental breakfast, lunch - afternoon snack, exhibits, authors, trivia contest, prizes and parking. The conference is a partnership with Preservation Virginia-Northern Virginia Branch, Fairfax County History Commission, Fairfax County Park Authority and the Fairfax Museum.
